Ji Chang Wook In Talks Along With Kim Yoo Jung For New Drama By

Ji Chang Wook is working on selecting his next drama project!

On January 14, it was reported that the actor will be starring in the Lifetime drama “Backstreet Rookie” (literal title).

In response, his agency Glorious Entertainment commented, “Ji Chang Wook is considering [the offer] to star in ‘Backstreet Rookie.’ [His appearance] is not confirmed, and it is just one of the casting offers he received.”

“Backstreet Rookie” is based on the webtoon “Convenience Store Saet Byul” and tells the story of a quirky and mischievous part-time worker and her handsome but clumsy manager at a 24-hour convenience store. It is being directed by producing director (PD) Lee Myung Woo, who is known for his work on SBS’s “The Fiery Priest” last year.

Previously, it was revealed that Kim Yoo Jung is in talks to play the female lead.

“Backstreet Rookie” is scheduled to premiere in the second half of the year.
