Kim Tae Hee Thanks Honey Lee For Showing Support For Her 1st Drama In 5 Years

Kim Tae Hee got a heartwarming surprise from Honey Lee!

On January 15, the actress posed with a finger heart in front of a snack truck that was sent to the set of tvN’s “Hi Bye, Mama!” (literal title). This is a fantasy drama about a mother named Cha Yu Ri (played by Kim Tae Hee) who returns to her family as a ghost after passing away in a tragic accident, and it is Kim Tae Hee’s first acting project in five years.

She wrote, “Honey, who cheered me on with a delicious snack truck on my first day on set. Thanks to you, I overcame the cold and sleepiness and gained strength to film again. Thank you so much!”

The banner on top of the truck includes an acrostic poem using Kim Tae Hee’s name. It reads, “Enjoy the steaming snacks. I’m wishing for the success of Tae Hee’s ‘Hi Bye, Mama!’ From actress Honey Lee.” Another banner stated, “‘Hi Bye, Mama!’ I’m cheering for Tae Hee and all of the staff members. Good luck!”

Honey Lee and Kim Tae Hee became friends while attending the prestigious Seoul National University together. Honey Lee previously revealed that Kim Tae Hee was the one who encouraged her to become a celebrity and helped kickstart her career by setting up her first audition.

“Hi Bye, Mama” premieres in February as the follow-up to “Crash Landing on You.” Check out the teaser here.
