Yeri is well known as a big fan of Ariana Grande, and the American singer followed Yeri back on Instagram last summer, making Yeri the first K-pop idol she’d ever followed. After seeing Yeri talk about her fan love for her in a video, Ariana Grande previously commented, “I need to hug her ASAP.”

On January 23 KST, Ariana Grande posted a photo with BTS on her Instagram. Yeri replied, “I envy them Ari.”

Ariana Grande wrote back to her to say, “can’t wait to hug u one day” with a cute emoji and a heart.
