SONAMOO Reportedly Making 1st Comeback In Over 2 Years As 5 Members
SONAMOO may be gearing up for their return as a five-member group.
On January 26, Korean media outlet Star News reported that SONAMOO was preparing to make a comeback in the near future. According to the report, the girl group is currently planning to release a single album around mid-February, with a source claiming that the members are already “in the process of recording their new song.”
As Nahyun and Sumin filed lawsuits to terminate their contracts with TS Entertainment last year, SONAMOO will reportedly be making their comeback as a five-member group.
Should the report prove true, SONAMOO’s upcoming release will mark their first official comeback and promotions in over two years. Although the group has released some music in the years since, their last official comeback and promotional period was in 2017, when they released their digital single “Happy Box Part.2” featuring the title track “I (Knew It).”
