BTS Matches Justin Bieber's Record For Most Weeks At Top Of Billboard's Social 50

BTS has now reached the record of most weeks at No. 1 on the Social 50 chart!

As of the Billboard chart dated February 1, the group has spent 163 non-consecutive weeks at the top, tying the record previously set by Justin Bieber.

The Social 50 chart ranks artists based on data from music analytics company Next Big Sound, and it shows the most popular artists on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Wikipedia. It determines the ranking through a combination of weekly additions of friends/fans/followers with artist page views and engagement.

BTS first took No. 1 on the chart dated October 29, 2016, and with only a few breaks in between, they’ve now reached 163 weeks at the top overall.  BTS has consistently been in the first place position on the chart since July 29, 2017. Their reign over the Social 50 has been a factor in them taking home the Top Social Artist award at the Billboard Music Awards for the last three years in a row.

Congratulations to BTS!
