GOT7's Jinyoung Donates To Animals In Need Affected By Australia's Bush Fires

GOT7’s Jinyoung is getting a lot of praise for his philanthropic actions!

On February 4, it was reported that Jinyoung donated an undisclosed amount of money to benefit the wild animals, such as koalas and kangaroos, that had been affected by the devastating bush fires in Australia.

Jinyoung’s agency JYP Entertainment confirmed the report. “It is true that Jinyoung donated money to the Korean Federation for Environmental Movement,” JYP Entertainment told Newsen. The agency said that it is difficult to disclose exactly how much money that Jinyoung donated.

The KFEM is the third-largest environmental non-profit organization in the world and the only one in Korea that helps out on a global scale.

Many K-pop artists have either spoken out to raise awareness or donated directly to the cause of aiding Australia during this tragic time, including EXO’s Chanyeol and Sehun, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, and Jay Park, just to name a few.
