Lee Soo Man To Give Speech As K-Pop Producer At SXSW 2020

SM Entertainment producer Lee Soo Man will be giving a keynote speech at the 2020 SXSW (South by Southwest) Conference!

On February 11 (local time), SXSW revealed their official list of keynote speakers for the 2020 SXSW Conference. The list includes Lee Soo Man, along with music directors Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross and screenwriter Damon Lindelof.

Lee Soo Man will attend the event on March 19 as the representative producer of K-pop and speak about the future of the music industry and more. Lee Soo Man will be joined by Capitol Music Group COO Michelle Jubelirer, and the two professionals will share a meaningful discussion.

SXSW said about Lee Soo Man, “Lee Soo Man is the founder of SM Entertainment, one of Asia’s largest entertainment groups. For 25 years, he has led SM in innovating the modern K-pop industry, pioneering the global success of Korean popular culture, and continually setting the cutting edge for Asian popular music.”

The 2020 SXSW Conference takes place from March 13 to 21 in Austin, Texas, and Lee Soo Man will be speaking on March 19.
