Idol Stars Graduate From School Of Performing Arts Seoul
On February 13, the graduation ceremony was held for the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA).
During an interview for their graduation, IZ*ONE’s Kim Min Ju shared, “It’s fascinating that I’m already graduating, but a part of me is also sad. I’m very grateful for the fans who supported me in my teens, and I’ll become someone who doesn’t remain stagnant and learns and works hard.” She added, “I will also cheer on all the people who are graduating like me and have a new beginning ahead of them.”
DreamNote’s Sumin shared, “I honestly can’t believe I’m already graduating, and I think time goes by too quickly. Before, I thought it would be nice if I could turn 20 (in Korean reckoning) soon, but now that I’m 20 and graduating, it feels somewhat bittersweet.” She said, “I think I’ll miss my friends and teachers, and I’ll think of school very often. Now that I’ve graduated and come of age, I get the feeling I should grow even more and work even harder.”
APRIL’s Jinsol shared, “I’m sad that I’m graduating without having been able to focus on school life a little more, but I’m very thankful and happy to be able to graduate amidst such warm congratulations. I’ll sincerely support the future of my friends who spent good times with me, and I’ll treasure the precious memories well. I’ll work hard in order to show myself grow even more.”
Furthermore, Rocket Punch’s Suyun and Yunkyoung also shared thoughts on their graduation although they were unable to attend the ceremony due to their comeback stage on “M Countdown.” Suyun said, “Although it’s a shame I couldn’t attend the graduation ceremony, I want to show an awesome comeback stage to my friends and teachers. I want to give my thanks to the friends and teachers who made great memories with me during the three years, and I’ll show a good side of me through our new song ‘BOUNCY.'”
Yunkyoung also shared, “It’s such a shame we can’t attend the graduation ceremony due to today’s comeback stage. However, it was a relief I could say farewell in advance to to my friends and teachers at school yesterday. I’ll work harder with the new song ‘BOUNCY’ to give a good impression of me.”
