CJ ENM Confirms They Are In Talks For IZ*ONE To Attend KCON 2020 Japan
CJ ENM has responded to reports that IZ*ONE will be attending KCON 2020 Japan.
On February 15, reports emerged that the girl group will be attending the event. In response, a source from CJ ENM stated, “We are currently in positive talks with their agency regarding their appearance.”
KCON 2020 Japan is set to be held from April 3 to 5 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. If IZ*ONE does go, it will be their second consecutive year attending a KCON Japan event, and they would join this year’s lineup that includes ASTRO, Oh My Girl, SF9, EVERGLOW, PENTAGON, The Boyz, LOONA, ONEUS, and TXT.
IZ*ONE is currently preparing for the release of their first studio album “BLOOM*IZ” on February 17. The album was previously scheduled to be released in November 2019, but was postponed due to the voting manipulation controversy surrounding the “Produce 101” series. In January, Mnet announced that IZ*ONE would be resuming activities.
