Ha Sung Woon Talks About His Experience Recording Music, Being In His Mid-Twenties, And More

Ha Sung Woon recently shot a pictorial for the March issue of Cosmopolitan.

In the accompanying interview, the singer revealed that he was in the middle of recording his third mini album. “Even if other people don’t hear it the same way, I’m the kind of person who has to make everything the way I hear it in my head, down to the vocal tone. There are lots of cases in which things improved because I kept insisting we do it again.”

Ha Sung Woon also talked about hosting the Naver audio show “Late Night Idol,” saying, “I feel proud whenever guests tell me that they felt comfortable and had a good time on the show. When people have an enjoyable experience because of something I do well, I want to get even better at it. I am having a lot of fun being a DJ.” He added that talking to various people had encouraged him to take on new challenges and said, “I don’t know how to play any instruments, so I want to learn how to play guitar and keyboard.”

Ha Sung Woon, who is born in March, will soon turn 26 years old. He said, “I am having more fun now than I did in my early twenties. I can enjoy things I didn’t know about in the past. I think that the future will hold even more exciting things for me. I don’t have anything particular I want to achieve before the end of my twenties, but I think those things will come after I turn thirty. When I get old enough that I get promote as an idol anymore, I might think, ‘What do I do now?’ I think that [my 30s and 40s] are a time when it might be fun to raise kids. My father says that when you get older, it’s harder to find things that are fun. But I think I will always find something that is fun.”
