MONSTA X’s Kihyun Shares Thoughts After Their Billboard 200 Top 5 Debut
He told SpoTVNews through his agency on February 24, “First off, I want to tell [our fans] Monbebe, who love us without holding anything back, how grateful and happy I am.”
“I think that if it weren’t for Monbebe, who listen to and cherish our music, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this or make our goal a reality,” he said. “I sincerely thank you and love you.”
“I will never forget this love that Monbebe has given to MONSTA X, and we’ll pay you back with even better music and performances,” he promised. “I also want to give a message of support to our members who worked hard with me. I want to say ‘You did a great job, and let’s work harder.'”
It was announced on February 23 that “All About Luv” became MONSTA X’s first album to hit the Billboard 200 when it grabbed the No. 5 spot. The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the United States, and the only other Korean artists who have taken spots in the Top 5 are BTS and SuperM.
Congratulations again to MONSTA X!
