Wi Ha Joon Confirmed To Join Kim Ha Neul And Yoon Sang Hyun In Upcoming JTBC Drama

Wi Ha Joon will be transforming into a professional baseball player for the upcoming JTBC drama “18 Again”!

On March 3, Wi Ha Joon’s agency MSteam Entertainment revealed that Wi Ha Joon has been confirmed to star in “18 Again.”

Based on the American film “17 Again,” “18 Again” is the story of a husband who returns to his prime days, which was 18 years ago just before his divorce. The drama will be director Ha Byung Hoon’s first drama since KBS 2TV’s “Go Back Couple.”

Wi Ha Joon will be taking on the role of Ye Ji Hoon, a skilled pitcher on the baseball team Nexen Heroes. With his refined visuals, smooth talking, and good manners, he is a sports star with numerous fans. Ye Ji Hoon will encounter rookie reporter Jung Da Jung (Kim Ha Neul) during her first broadcast of an interview with the players of the winning team. After leaving a memorable first impression, the two will become closer as they support each other and heal each other’s pain while facing various problems together.

In the drama, Ye Ji Hoon will act as a special character who raises tensions between Jung Da Jung and Hong Dae Young (Yoon Sang Hyun), who are in danger of going through a divorce.

Wi Ha Joon has received praise for his skilled acting in the films “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum” and “Miss & Mrs. Cops,” as well as the dramas “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food,” “Matrimonial Chaos,” and “Romance is a Bonus Book.” In the upcoming JTBC drama, Wi Ha Joon is expected to make hearts flutter through his romance-like friendship with Kim Ha Neul’s character.

“18 Again” will premiere in the second half of 2020. Recently, Lee Ki Woo, Kim Yoo Ri, and Han So Eun have been confirmed to join Kim Ha Neul, Yoon Sang Hyun, Lee Do Hyun, and Golden Child‘s Bomin in the drama.
