On March 3, the actor surprised fans with a selfie that shows his silver hair, the perfect look for his new foray into being a singer.
Lee Yi Kyung released his first trot song “Leave Work on Time” in February after performing a song of the genre on XtvN variety show “Player.” On the March 3 broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song At Noon,” the actor appeared as a guest and shared the story behind his trot singer debut.
“I finished recording within 40 minutes and practice after four rounds,” he said. “So I still feel awkward and nervous even though it’s my song.”
About attempting the trot genre, Lee Yi Kyung revealed, “My agency CEO first suggested that I release a trot song. I passed on it, thinking that it was a joke, but the CEO spoke seriously about it so I took it on seriously. I also planned and shot the album jacket photos.”
