“Broadcasting On Your Side” Halts Filming After Guest Exhibits Signs Of Illness
MBC variety show “Broadcasting on Your Side” has halted filming after one of its guests showed signs of illness.
On March 8, a source from the show said to OSEN, “With the current spread of COVID-19, the production staff has been conducting pre-interviews with all the celebrity and non-celebrity guests who appear on the show. We check whether they have traveled to high-risk areas after February 1 as well as their current health condition.”
The source continued, “For the filming on March 7, we conducted contactless temperature checks, blocked off the filming area to prevent outsiders from coming in, and disinfected important areas the day before. While we were filming, a non-celebrity guest showed signs of fever and illness, so for everyone’s safety, we stopped filming.”
According to the source, the guest in question went to the National Examination Center and was found to have a normal temperature. However, for preventative purposes, the guest was checked for the coronavirus anyway, and the results will be available on Monday at 9 a.m. KST.
“Broadcasting on Your Side” is a show that highlights ordinary people taking on small but meaningful challenges in their life. It airs every Friday at 9:50 p.m. KST.
