Watch: Park Min Young And Seo Kang Joon Learn How To Waltz Behind The Scenes Of "I'll Go To You When The Weather Is Nice"
JTBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama “I’ll Go to You When the Weather Is Nice” has released a new making-of video featuring Park Min Young and Seo Kang Joon!
The behind-the-scenes video showcases Park Min Young and Seo Kang Joon practicing how to waltz. Seo Kang Joon starts off with his arms outstretched, preparing to dance. Asking for music, he begins to waltz alone to show Park Min Young the motions. She comments, “One hundred percent, if we start now, we’ll look like robots.”
While taking a break, Seo Kang Joon points out, “It’s weird if we dance well,” and Park Min Young says that it looks weird when he exaggerates his movements too much. As they watch a waltz performance together, Seo Kang Joon comments that he thought the waltz scene in “Pride and Prejudice” also came out beautifully. However, he quickly changes his focus back to their scene, asking the director in-depth questions about his character’s thoughts for the particular scene.
After their first attempt at filming, Park Min Young bursts out laughing, saying, “Again, again. This won’t do,” while Seo Kang Joon says encouragingly, “We did well!” Following more takes, Seo Kang Joon says, “[I didn’t know] this would be this difficult,” and Park Min Young chides his character for imagining this difficult waltz scene.
Park Min Young also brings up that Seo Kang Joon has been practicing since the day before for the scene, adding, “Because you practiced so much, I’m able to do this well. I’m completely and solely trusting in you. The man should lead in a waltz.” Despite the difficulties, the two actors manage to film the beautiful waltz scene smoothly.
“I’ll Go to You When the Weather Is Nice” airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. KST.
