Watch: Shin Seung Ho Demands The Truth From Lee Shin Young In Suspenseful "How To Buy A Friend" Preview
KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “How to Buy a Friend” has shared new character teasers of Lee Shin Young and Shin Seung Ho!
Based on a webtoon of the same name, “How to Buy a Friend” tells the story of average high school student Park Chan Hong (Lee Shin Young) who starts a “contractual friendship” with the school’s legendary fighter Heo Don Hyuk (Shin Seung Ho) because of a poem he writes.
In Heo Don Hyuk’s character teaser, he coincidentally comes upon a poem written by Park Chan Hong titled “Footprints.” Heo Don Hyuk is about to pass by when he becomes shocked while reading the last line, “Wet sand remembers footprints.” Heo Don Hyuk checks the author of the poem again as he looks shocked and flustered, building anticipation on what the truth behind the poem could be.
Park Chan Hong’s teaser shows Heo Don Hyuk approaching him on the roof and saying, “There’s no need to be thankful. You have to pay it back too. You agreed earlier.” Scared and nervous, Park Chan Hong replies, “Yes, what should I do? Just say the word,” but Heo Don Hyuk interrupts him by telling him to jump off.
Grabbing Park Chan Hong by the neck while pushing him to the edge of the roof, Heo Don Hyuk asks, “Did you kill Shin Seo Jung?” The teaser ends with Park Chan Hong thinking, “I shouldn’t have written that damn poem,” making viewers curious to find out if Park Chan Hong is connected to the death of Heo Don Hyuk’s girlfriend Shin Seo Jung (Cho Yi Hyun).
“How to Buy a Friend” premieres on April 6 at 10 p.m. KST.
