Watch: Ong Seong Wu Amazes

Ong Seong Wu made a memorable first appearance on “Master in the House”!

On the March 22 episode of the SBS variety show, Ong Seong Wu appeared as a “one-day disciple” following the departure of cast members Lee Sang Yoon and BTOB’s Yook Sungjae.

The cast had learned of Ong Seong Wu’s appearance through news articles and expressed their excitement. Although the cast already knew of his identity, Ong Seong Wu wore a mask to hide his face while making his first appearance on the show.

The members were then introduced to their newest master, traditional Korean drum player Kim Deok Soo, who made his entrance with a samulnori (traditional Korean percussion) performance.

The cast learned how to spin the sangmo (traditional Korean folk arts hat), which is worn while dancing and moving the head around during a performance. Yang Se Hyung and Ong Seong Wu then competed in a game of knocking down water bottles while spinning the sangmo. The comedian used his strength to knock over the bottles while crawling around on all fours, making the cast burst into laughter.

Ong Seong Wu, whom Yang Se Hyung named as his rival, went up next. The singer’s strategy was accuracy, and he aimed directly for each water bottle before wrapping up his turn by showing off his b-boy skills. He then ended his performance with a smile and a thumbs-up.
