Brand New Music Shares Update On Legal Action Against Malicious Commenters

On March 23, Brand New Music shared a statement that updated fans on the legal action the agency is taking against malicious commenters.

The statement reads:

Hello, this is Brand New Music.

We are writing to inform you about the current situation regarding the complaint we filed at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office against malicious rumors, the spread of false information, defamation of character, personal attacks, and other malicious behavior concerning our agency’s artists.

The complaint has been transmitted to the police’s cyber investigation team and a confiscation warrant has been issued to the relevant websites. The suspects will be summoned for questioning. As the investigation progresses, we will share updates with you as soon as possible. We ask for all the fans’ cooperation.
