CJ ENM has confirmed that the employee who tested positive for the novel coronavirus is a junior producing director (PD) on “Food Bless You.”
“Food Bless You” (also known as “Bob Bless You”) is a variety show airing on Olive that stars Park Na Rae, Kim Sook, Song Eun Yi, and Jang Do Yeon.
Park Na Rae’s reps issued a statement to SPOTV News saying that the cast members had not come into direct contact with the PD in question. CJ ENM stated that after the PD began experiencing symptoms and went to get tested, all the production staff members who had been in contact with them went into self-isolation.
The CJ ENM source said, “As soon as the test came back positive, we told the cast members everything about the situation. We understand that they are going to be examined sometime between today and tomorrow. All the production staff completed their tests today as well.”
CJ ENM has had to temporarily close their building in Sangam after an employee tested positive for COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).
On March 28, a source from CJ ENM confirmed the news and stated, “Today, an employee’s COVID-19 test results came back positive. To ensure that the virus does not spread, we have closed down the entire building and we are going through emergency disinfection measures.”
The source added, “All of our employees have been telecommuting unless absolutely necessary since February 27, and all employees who enter the building are having their temperatures checked.”
All of the employees who were working in the building today (March 28) were ordered to evacuate after CJ ENM was notified of the positive test results.
