In moments where some find themselves having to pick one or the other, there are those who follow their hearts and choose love.

Let’s take a look at five actors who have confessed that if they had to make a choice between love and friendship, they’d choose love above all else:

EXO’s D.O.

On a past episode of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything,” D.O. revealed that he would choose love over friendship.

When asked the question about love versus friendship, Sehun chose friendship, explaining, “I think that loyalty is the most important thing in life.” Seo Jang Hoon then stated, “Even if I’m wrong about everyone else here, I think that D.O. will choose love,” and D.O. agreed, “You’re right.”

Yang Se Jong

Back in 2017, Yang Se Jong confessed that love was more important to him than friendship in an interview he gave after starring in SBS’s “Degree of Love.”

In the drama, Yang Se Jong was part of an onscreen love triangle with Kim Jae Wook and Seo Hyun Jin. While reflecting on scenes from the drama, he said, “I tend to confront problems rather than avoid them when issues arise with other people. If there’s a problem, I meet up and talk [with the other person].”

When asked to choose between love or friendship, he replied, “My thoughts on love may continue to change, but at my current age, I think it’s love over friendship.”

Jung Ga Ram

Jung Ga Ram stole many viewers’ hearts last year when he appeared in the Netflix series “Love Alarm.”

In an interview following the show’s release, the actor was asked what he would do if he were in a situation where he had to choose between love and friendship. “It’s love,” he answered. “I used to think it was friendship, but I’d choose love. I’m not sure if friendship is necessarily better.”

Jung Woo

Jung Woo also picked love over friendship during an interview for his 2015 film “C’est Si Bon.”

The actor explained, “I think that my friend would be understanding even if I chose love.”

Go Kyung Pyo

In an interview accompanying a magazine pictorial, Go Kyung Pyo described love as something he wants to work hard at.

“I tend to try to do my best when it comes to love, rather than friendship,” said the actor. “I think you should have mutual respect for the decision of the person you love, and I think that it’s wrong to coerce them.”
