WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon And Song Mino Talk About Each Other’s Habits And More
On the April 6 broadcast of “Jung Eun Ji’s Music Plaza,” Apink’s Jung Eun Ji welcomed the two WINNER members to her show. “We see each other often because we go to the same salon,” she said. “They’re my ’93 liner friends.”
Jung Eun Ji said, “Kang Seung Yoon is the youngest among us but he debuted in 2010 so he’s the most senior artist. How do you feel, as a senior artist, when you see Song Mino?”
Kang Seung Yoon jokingly replied, “As a junior artist, Song Mino is cute. He’s really grown a lot in the past few years, of course including his fashion but also when it comes to his skills. I feel proud as I watch him.” Song Mino joked, “Thanks, senior.”
The pair also talked about each other’s pros and cons. Song Mino said, “Kang Seung Yoon is a picky eater. He tends to just eat one food.” Kang Seung Yoon explained that while this is true, he’s gotten better about that while living with the members.
Song Mino went on to say, “Kang Seung Yoon is generous with his money. It was my birthday recently and he asked me what I wanted. I thought of a vacuum so I sent him a link, and he right away bought it and sent me a screenshot.”
On the other hand, Kang Seung Yoon said about Song Mino, “He says that he hates when people take their time but he’s the worst when it comes to that. It’s frustrating.” He explained, “For example, if someone has to come down and leave for work in 30 minutes, then they’d usually get ready and come down 10 or 20 minutes before. Song Mino starts getting ready at the 29 minute mark.”
He added, “If you try to make him hurry up, then he’ll say, ‘Don’t rush me. If you do then I’ll be even later,'” and even their manager sympathized with Kang Seung Yoon over this.
The guys were also asked to name an artist they’d like to collaborate with, and Kang Seung Yoon named Jung Eun Ji. Song Mino added, “I’ll join. Also, I want to collaborate with SE SO NEON’s Hwang So Yoon [So!YoON!]. I really enjoyed their album.”
WINNER is set to the release their third full album “Remember” on April 9.
