(G)I-DLE Sets Sights On U.S. Market With Republic Records Partnership

(G)I-DLE has teamed up with Republic Records for their U.S. debut!

On April 8 local time, it was announced that (G)I-DLE has partnered with Republic Records, an American record label owned by Universal Music Group. Republic Records’s lineup of artists also includes Ariana Grande, Drake, Taylor Swift, Jonas Brothers, Nicki Minaj, and many more.

(G)I-DLE and Republic Records have joined forces for the release of the group’s third mini album “I trust,” which is now considered their official U.S. debut.

Avery Lipman, the President, COO, and CO-founder of Republic Records, stated, “We are excited to be teaming up with the multi-talented girl group, (G)I-DLE, as they make their highly anticipated debut into the U.S. marketplace. The new mini album, ‘I trust,’ launches the group stateside as we endeavor to accelerate their trajectory towards global stardom.”

(G)I-DLE made a comeback on April 6 with their new mini album “I trust” and the title track “Oh My God.” They’ll be performing the track for the first time on a music show when they appear on “M Countdown” on April 9.
