EXO’s Chanyeol and producer mq will be collaborating with Jang Sung Kyu to produce a new music video!
On April 9, Jang Sung Kyu revealed that he would be releasing a new song with a music video produced by Chanyeol and producer mq. Along with a selfie of himself with Chanyeol, Jang Sung Kyu wrote on his Instagram post, “I’ve done something crazy. My first project with Chanyeol. A music video I’m working on with him. Coming soon.”
Jang Sung Kyu also uploaded a clip from Chanyeol and producer mq’s YouTube channel Studio.NNG. The video clip introduces the collaboration between the two producers and Jang Sung Kyu. After Jang Sung Kyu mentions that he enjoyed watching Chanyeol’s projects, he asks if Chanyeol and producer mq could produce a new music video for his upcoming song.
The three share a drink as they discuss the plans for Jang Sung Kyu’s music video. Chanyeol even jokes amicably that he won’t be appearing in the MV because his appearance fee would be around $7 million. After their discussion, Chanyeol and producer mq have a meeting with other producers to talk about creating an emotional and sad MV starring Jang Sung Kyu that will tug at viewers’ heartstrings.
Chanyeol and Jang Sung Kyu got to know each other when Jang Sung Kyu became a one-day manager for EXO for his YouTube channel Workman. Jang Sung Kyu and Studio.NNG’s collaboration MV will be released next week.
