Highlight's Yoon Doojoon Officially Discharged From The Military

Highlight’s Yoon Doojoon has been released from the military!

Around US Entertainment announced that the leader has been officially discharged on April 10 after completing his service.

Following protocol enacted due to coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, Yoon Doojoon was discharged straight from his last vacation without returning to his base.

On August 24, 2018, Yoon Doojoon enlisted as a military policeman on active duty in the 12th Infantry Division. He was promoted to Corporal three months early due to exemplary military service in April 2019.

Commenting on his military service experience, Yoon Doojoon said that he has made unforgettable memories. “Although there were difficult times, it was a good opportunity for me to grow mentally,” he said. “I want to thank my military unit members for making unforgettable memories with me and my superiors for giving me strength.” Yoon Doojoon then expressed his gratitude to his family and fans, acknowledging their long wait for his return.

Yoon Doojoon is unfortunately not able to hold an offline event to meet fans after his discharge, but he plans to communicate with fans over V Live instead on April 10 at 7 p.m. KST.
