Woollim Threatens Legal Action Against Impostors Impersonating Lovelyz Online

Woollim Entertainment has warned that it may take legal action against impostors impersonating the Lovelyz members on social media.

On April 13, the agency released the following statement:

Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment. First, we want to thank all of the Lovelinus [Lovelyz’s official fandom] who love and care for Lovelyz.

We are releasing this notice because we discovered cases of people impersonating the members online.

In addition to [the impostor] who recently entered a group chat on a messaging app and communicated with fans, all of the cases where people called themselves Lovelyz members online outside of the group’s official channels were not the actual members. We have ascertained that [the impostors] were using the messaging app profile photos of Lovelyz’s family members, as well as photos posted to social media.

As the Lovelyz members are currently only communicating with fans via the official channels run by our agency, we hope that Lovelinus will take special care not to incur any damages due to impersonators.

Additionally, we will continuously monitor any impersonation of our agency’s artists and the invasion of their private lives, and we are informing you that we may also take legal action in the future. Thank you.
