Yeo Jin Goo, Sung Dong Il, And Kim Hee Won Announced As Cast Members Of New tvN Variety Show
A new variety show is headed your way!
On April 30, tvN released details about “House on Wheels” (literal title), a variety program where the cast will experience life in various places around Korea.
The cast will build a small, portable home where they’ll live together and invite guests over. They’ll empty their greed for a house and fill their lives with important things in their lives instead.
“House on Wheels” follows the global “tiny house” trend where people are living on the road with only their essential belongings. This trend has become popular amongst this current generation that favors a minimal, environmentally friendly life.
The program will showcase a portable home that will satisfy viewers who fantasize about owning a cost-effective home. Since portable homes are still a fairly new concept in Korea, the program will show the entire process from constructing, planning, entering, and moving.
Actors Yeo Jin Goo, Sung Dong Il, and Kim Hee Won have been confirmed as the cast. Viewers can look forward to the chemistry between the friendly oldest member Sung Dong Il, funny second oldest member Kim Hee Won, and adorable youngest member Yeo Jin Goo. Sung Dong Il and Kim Hee Won are close friends in real life, and Yeo Jin Goo made his acting debut as Sung Dong Il’s son in MBC’s 2006 drama “I Want to Love” (literal title).
The members will chronicle their fun life together in the portable home and share heartfelt conversations with friends they weren’t able to see due to their busy lives after inviting them over as guests.
A source from the show said, “Everyone dreams of having their own home, but it’s not easy to make this come true in real life. I created this program because I was curious about what it would be like to live in a moving home. Please look forward to the new everyday life that will be shown when you live in a home that allows you to go anywhere at any time.”
“House on Wheels” premieres in June.
