"Ask Us Anything" To Air "Mister Trot" Special Over 3 Weeks
JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” will broadcast the “Mister Trot” special for another week in addition to the usual two weeks!
On May 10, a representative from JTBC confirmed that the “‘Mister Trot’ Top 7” special will air for three consecutive weeks.
Previously, “Ask Us Anything” aired an episode featuring the top seven finalists from the popular audition program “Mister Trot.” The appearance of the vocalists gave the show their highest viewership ratings yet, scoring an average nationwide rating of 15.52 percent.
“Originally we planned to record enough for two weeks,” the show’s producer admitted. “However, after recording, we realized there weren’t many parts we could cut, so we decided to air the special over three weeks.”
The producer also revealed some things to look out for in the upcoming episodes. “There’s a segment where they will pair up with the brothers and sing together in a ‘Trot Competition.’ This will probably air in the third week. Before that, they’ll decide their partners through a guessing game. The guests brought lots of stories that they haven’t told anywhere else in the form of questions for the game. I think this will really be something to look forward to,” the producer hinted.
“Ask Us Anything” will air the next episode of the “‘Mister Trot’ Top 7” special on May 16 at 9 p.m. KST.
