Following the controversy regarding Jung Joon Won’s behavior, “The World of the Married” has clarified that the actor was not planned to be included in further episodes of the show.

A source from the drama stated, “Jung Joon Won’s final appearance was in episode 14, which aired on May 9. He does not appear in episode 15 or 16, according to the script.”

They continued, “Regarding removing his parts from replays of the episodes, confirmation is required about that.”

Jung Joon Won’s agency has responded to reports that the “The World of the Married” actor engaged in underage drinking and smoking.

Recently, photos began circulating online that were purportedly from Jung Joon Won’s Facebook account. Although Jung Joon Won is currently a minor, the photos appeared to show him engaging in drinking and smoking with his friends.

On May 10, Jung Joon Won’s agency, DAIN Entertainment, released an official statement about the issue.

This is our agency’s response to Jung Joon Won’s social media posts that were revealed today.

First, our job is to manage actors, so we sincerely apologize for any inadequacy on our part in managing our artist. Currently, we are conducting a thorough internal investigation into the situation and will ensure that it does not happen again.

We are sorry for causing an incident of public criticism at a time when society is disordered due to COVID-19. We are also deeply sorry to the production staff of the drama “The World of the Married.”

Jung Joon Won was born in 2004, making him 16 in international age and 17 in Korean age. He plays Cha Hae Kang in “The World of the Married,” the teenage son of Cha Do Chul (Kim Tae Hyang) and his wife (Yoon In Jo).
