Watch: MONSTA X Shows Off Loving And Chaotic Chemistry In "Weekly Idol" Preview

“Weekly Idol” has shared a sneak peek of its upcoming episode featuring MONSTA X!

On May 10, the MBC every1 variety show released a preview of next week’s episode, on which MONSTA X will appear as guests for the first time in 10 months. According to Star News, the group filmed the episode on May 4.

MONSTA X is currently gearing up for their comeback with the mini album “FANTASIA X,” which was originally scheduled to be released on May 11. However, the release was recently postponed to May 26 due to Shownu‘s injury.

In the new preview for “Weekly Idol,” MONSTA X blows out candles on a cake to celebrate the upcoming fifth anniversary of their debut on May 14. The members are also full of love as they take turns praising each other: Minhyuk makes a heart with his hands while smiling at Joohoney, and the rapper comments that he feels shy. Shownu uses a play on words to praise Hyungwon‘s appearance by calling him “Barbie doll Hyungwon,” while Kihyun praises Minhyuk’s handsome looks.

The mood quickly shifts, however, when I.M says that his bubble of fantasy burst as time passed. Minhyuk mentions an unnamed member who doesn’t match well personality-wise with someone else, while Hyungwon laughs, “I don’t think that [this person] likes me very much.” Shownu jokes that a certain member is a little rude, and Kihyun immediately declares that it’s not him.

MONSTA X continues to showcase their witty banter, charms, and stunning looks, and the preview concludes with everyone applauding after Joohoney’s drum performance.

The next episode of “Weekly Idol” airs on May 13 at 5 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki! Check out the preview below:
