Roy Kim Announces Acceptance To Marine Corps And Enlistment Date

Roy Kim has confirmed his plans to enlist.

On May 11, it was reported that Roy Kim would soon be enlisting in the Marine Corps.

In response, a source from his agency Stone Music Entertainment stated, “Roy Kim applied for the Marine Corps in March. He was recently notified by the Military Manpower Administration that he has been accepted to join the Marine Corps, and he will enlist on June 15 in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province to carry out his duties. Please keep watching over him.”

In 2019, Roy Kim was investigated on suspicions of spreading illegally taken pornographic material, as part of the scandal that surrounded group chatrooms in which celebrities discussed and committed illegal acts. In April 2019, Roy Kim admitted to the sharing of an illegally taken photo but did not admit to filming photos or videos. In February of this year, a suspension of indictment was made on Roy Kim’s case.

Roy Kim will be enlisting on June 15.
