Im Siwan, Kim Nam Gil, Park Hae Joon, And More Confirmed To Join New Disaster Film

Im SiwanKim Nam Gil, Park Hae Joon, and more have been confirmed to join Song Kang Ho and Lee Byung Hun in the upcoming star-studded film “Declaration of Emergency” (literal title)!

“Declaration of Emergency” is a disaster film that will tell the story of the unprecedented calamities that arise when an airplane is forced to make an emergency landing.

Song Kang Ho, who rose to international fame for his role in the film “Parasite,” will play a detective who investigates the catastrophic incident. Lee Byung Hun is confirmed to play a father who has a phobia of planes but boards the airplane for his daughter. Jeon Do Yeon is also confirmed to join the cast as a general and plans to show off a completely new side to her acting.

The cast will also include Kim Nam Gil, who has tackled a variety of genres in the past with his experience in films and dramas. He will play the vice-captain of the airplane.

Additionally, Im Siwan will return to the big screen to take on the role of a passenger who boards the airplane by himself.

Kim So Jin of the award-winning film “The Man Standing Next” will also star in “Declaration of Emergency” as a flight attendant, while Park Hae Joon from the highly-viewed JTBC drama “The World of the Married” is confirmed to play the head of the government’s crisis management center.

“Declaration of Emergency” is directed by Han Jae Rim, who has worked on the 2013 film “The Face Reader,” the 2017 film “The King,” and more.

The film is scheduled to begin filming at the end of May.
