Listen: (G)I-DLE Drops English Version Of Their Hit "LATATA" After Signing With Republic Records

(G)I-DLE continues branching out into the global market as they release an English version of their hit debut track “LATATA”!

The Cube Entertainment girl group released “LATATA” in May 2018 as the title track off their debut mini album “I Am.” It became a hit and earned them their first music show trophy only 20 days after their debut, and they solidified their reputation as rookies to keep an eye on. They went on to receive six Rookie of the Year awards at year-end ceremonies.

(G)I-DLE recently announced that they signed a partnership with the American label Republic Records, with the release of their third mini album “I trust” in April being their official U.S. debut. The album included an English version of their title track “Oh My God.”

They’re now taking another step farther in the international market, as they released an English version of “LATATA” on May 15!
