Girls' Generation's Sunny Gets Special Birthday Shout-Out From Her Idol BoA + Tiffany Celebrates With Photos From Playing Animal Crossing Together

BoA showed her love for fellow SM labelmate Girls’ Generation member Sunny!

On May 15, BoA shared a lovely photo of Sunny. Calling the idol by her real name, BoA added, “Soon Kyu, who I love the most in this world, happy birthday!”

Sunny previously expressed her admiration for BoA while watching the singer’s appearance on SBS’s “Because I Want to Talk.” The Girls’ Generation member revealed that BoA was her favorite singer since her elementary school years and described her as a kind-hearted and lovely person.

Tiffany took to Instagram Stories to celebrate Sunny’s birthday from afar with throwback photos and videos.

She also included screenshots of their digital hangout from the video game Animal Crossing. She explained that they’re the only photos from 2020 that she has of the two of them, describing Animal Crossing screenshots as “the new selfies of 2020.” She wrote on the photo, “I love you, Soon Kyu.”

Sunny made a post about her birthday with a selfie and a photo of her birthday cake from the SMTOWN café. She wrote, “Thank you for the birthday wishes! My wish is for the physical and mental health of my loved ones! Thank you for making my birthday the best birthday every year. I’ll live happily every day as if it’s my birthday. Thank you!”
