Watch: Yoo Ah In Tries To Keep Out A Zombie Horde In 1st “#ALIVE” Trailer

Yoo Ah In and Park Shin Hye‘s new film “#ALIVE” has shared its first trailer!

“#ALIVE” is a survival thriller film in which hordes of people have come down with a strange illness that makes them uncontrollable and they begin to attack others. Meanwhile, those without symptoms become trapped alone in their apartments without any cellular data, Wi-Fi, texting, or phone calls. Yoo Ah In and Park Shin Hye play two lone survivors named Joon Woo and Yoo Bin who are trying to make it through the “zombie” attacks.

The preview released on May 19 is a “mobile trailer” set up as a phone screen, fitting the movie’s storyline in which surviving citizens one morning find themselves completely cut off, without any data or Wi-Fi.

In the video, Joon Woo’s phone is getting a flood of notifications that show just how serious the situation is. He has four missed calls from his father, alerts about “rioting” going on, and warnings not to come in contact with the infected because it can be passed through bites or wounds. His father sends him a message asking, “Did you see the news? Are you okay?”

His father tells him it seems he won’t be able to go to him now and his last message reads, “You must survive,” before Joon Woo’s phone screen cracks. The trailer then shows a terrified Joon Woo trying to keep out the swarm of zombies.

“#ALIVE” is set to hit theaters in Korea in late June.
