Kim Yoo Jung Transforms Into The Perfect Employee For “Backstreet Rookie”
Kim Yoo Jung will be transforming into a part-time convenience store employee in the upcoming SBS Friday-Saturday drama “Backstreet Rookie.”
“Backstreet Rookie” will be a romantic comedy set in a 24-hour convenience store. Kim Yoo Jung will take on the role of Jung Saet Byul, who works the night shift at a convenience store run by Choi Dae Hyun (played by Ji Chang Wook). She has an odd personality and appears like a savior to the quiet convenience store one day.
On May 20, the first stills of Kim Yoo Jung as Jung Saet Byul were shared, showing her perfect transformation into a part-time worker. She has a bright smile on her face in her convenience store uniform, but the bandage on her face elicits intrigue as its origins are unknown.
Kim Yoo Jung is said to have become completely immersed in her character from the first filming of the drama. The production staff of “Backstreet Rookie” said, “We can’t imagine anyone else taking on the role of Jung Saet Byul. Kim Yoo Jung is really creating a character you can’t help but love. We know viewers will fall in love with the charming Jung Saet Byul as well. Please anticipate Kim Yoo Jung’s transformation.”
“Backstreet Rookie” is set to premiere at 10 p.m. KST on June 12.
