Oh My Girl's Hyojung Talks Beauty Tips, Working Tons Of Part-Time Jobs, + Success Of "Nonstop"

In a recent interview and pictorial for @star1 magazine, Oh My Girl’s Hyojung reflected on her journey as an idol.

Oh My Girl has been sweeping both music charts and music shows with their latest title track “Nonstop,” and Hyojung excitedly revealed that the song’s massive success still feels like a dream to her.

“I still can’t believe it,” she said happily. “I feel amazed seeing Oh My Girl’s name at the top of the music charts.”

As for the key to the group’s famously strong teamwork and close bond, Hyojung remarked, “I talk a lot with the other members in our daily lives. I think that the Oh My Girl members have a lot of trust and faith in one another.”

Before making it as a singer, Hyojung worked countless part-time jobs on her way to achieving her dream. “I’ve had so many part-time jobs,” she recalled, from working at a pig’s trotters restaurant to babysitting and even handing out flyers.”

She went on to add, “That wide array of experience has helped me a great deal even in my promotions as a celebrity. I think it’s also deepened the emotion in my singing.”

Finally, when asked to share the secret to her flawless, baby-like skin, Hyojung replied, “I pay extremely careful attention to cleansing. I also usually try not to wear makeup [when I’m not working], in order to not irritate my skin.”
