Watch: Apink’s Hayoung Launches YouTube Channel With Support From Joy, Kim Heechul, And More
Apink’s Hayoung has launched her own YouTube channel!
On May 28, Hayoung announced on Instagram the start of her new YouTube channel titled “Ohhabbang.” She wrote, “On my channel, I plan on including various stories about soccer and gaming, which I love. I will upload every Thursday, so please show lots of love and interest for my channel.”
In her first video, Hayoung shares that she created a YouTube channel to communicate more with her fans and explains the meaning behind her channel name. She says, “A lot of my fans call me ‘Habbang,’ so I figured I should name my channel ‘Ohhabbang.'”
Throughout the video, Hayoung continues to cringe and laugh at herself as she is not used to being in front of the camera as a YouTuber.
Hayoung then calls Rado of Black Eyed Pilseung, the producing team behind Apink’s latest title track “Dumhdurum,” and asks him to create a melody using her channel name.
Next, she calls Kim Heechul to tell him about her channel. He jokes, “But you’re not good at gaming. You always lose to me.” Hayoung then asks him to feature on her channel in the future and promises that he can choose what game they will play. Afterwards, Hayoung contacts labelmate Huh Gak to talk about soccer and finally gets on the phone with Red Velvet’s Joy, who congratulates Hayoung on the launch of her channel.
