BLACKPINK Makes History In Australia As Their Lady Gaga Collab Becomes Highest-Charting Song By K-Pop Group On ARIA Chart
BLACKPINK has just made K-pop history in Australia!
On June 6, the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) announced that BLACKPINK’s new collaboration with Lady Gaga, “Sour Candy,” had debuted on the ARIA Singles Chart at No. 8.
The ranking marks the highest any K-pop group has ever charted on the ARIA Singles Chart to date, breaking the previous record held by BTS’s “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey, which peaked at No. 10.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
