IU, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, Lee Je Hoon, And More Selected As Honorary Judges For Mise-En-Scène Short Film Festival
IU, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, Lee Je Hoon, Oh Jung Se, and Lee Jung Eun have been chosen as honorary judges for the 19th Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival, which will be held online this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival has fostered interest in short films over the years as well as been a platform for discovery of new talents in Korean film. This year, the five honorary judges will each be reviewing films from one of the following genres: social impact (IU), melodrama (Oh Jung Se), comedy (YoonA), horror/fantasy (Lee Jung Eun), and action/thriller (Lee Je Hoon).
The 19th Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival will be holding its opening ceremony on June 24 and will run until July 1. All programs from the festival will be aired on Mise-en-scene Short Film Festival’s Naver TV channel.
