TWICE Tops Oricon's Weekly Albums Chart With Korean Album

TWICE’s new album topped Oricon’s weekly albums chart!

On June 1, TWICE returned with their ninth Korean mini album “MORE & MORE,” featuring the title track of the same name. After selling 36,000 units in Japan in the second week of June, “MORE & MORE” took the No. 1 spot on Oricon’s weekly albums chart.

TWICE’s “MORE & MORE” is their sixth album to rank No. 1 on Oricon’s weekly albums chart, placing the group second only to BoA for the greatest number of first place albums by a foreign female artist. TWICE had previously been tied with Mariah Carey for second place with five albums to top the weekly chart.

In the first week of June, which was the first week of the album’s release, TWICE took the No. 2 spot on Oricon’s weekly albums chart with “MORE & MORE.”

TWICE will make a comeback in Japan on July 8 with their new single “Fanfare.”

Congratulations to TWICE!
