"Kkondae Intern" To Delay Final Episode For A Week

MBC’s current Wednesday-Thursday drama “Kkondae Intern” will not be airing its final episode this week.

Earlier this week, a source from the drama stated, “The final episode of ‘Kkondae Intern,’ which was scheduled for June 25, will not be airing because of the memorial tribute for the 70th anniversary of the Korean War. The final episode will air for 90 minutes on July 1 instead.”

In South Korea, the Korean War is referred to as the “6.25 War,” a reference to its start date on June 25, 1950.

Additionally, a 100-minute special episode of “Kkondae Intern” will air on June 27 from 9 to 11 p.m. KST.

“Kkondae Intern” is an office comedy starring Park Hae Jin as a former intern who has climbed up the corporate ladder at rapid speed, and Kim Eung Soo as his former boss who becomes his new intern. The drama has received consistent viewership ratings and has been ranked as one of the highest-rated dramas in its time slot throughout its run.
