Kim Woo Seok, Lee Jin Hyuk, Kim Jae Hwan, And Jeong Sewoon Confirmed For New Variety Show
On June 23, SPOTV News reported that Kim Woo Seok, Lee Jin Hyuk, Kim Jae Hwan, and Jeong Sewoon would be joining the new idol variety program “Boys’ Mind Camp” (working title), which is scheduled to broadcast through over-the-top (OTT) platform WAVVE in August.
In response to the reports, a representative of SM C&C Studio shared on June 26, “Kim Jae Hwan, Jung Sewoon, Kim Woo Seok, and Lee Jin Hyuk have been confirmed to star on ‘Boys’ Mind Camp,’ and they began filming today.”
Hosted by Defconn, “Boys’ Mind Camp” will be a healing program that will inspect the idols’ mental states following their competitive auditions and hectic promotions. In addition to a diverse curriculum prepared to strengthen and heal their hearts so that the four idols can continue to promote in good health, the show will help the idols develop strong mentalities.
Previously, Kim Jae Hwan and Jeong Sewoon auditioned on “Produce 101 Season 2” in 2017, and UP10TION’s Kim Woo Seok and Lee Jin Hyuk auditioned on “Produce X 101” in 2019.
Kim Jae Hwan and Jeong Sewoon both attended Howon University to study practical music, and the two artists have continued to participate on variety shows and promote actively with their self-composed songs. Kim Woo Seok and Lee Jin Hyuk, who both debuted as members of UP10TION in 2015, have recently promoted as solo artists and appeared on music shows, variety shows, dramas, and more.
The upcoming variety show will allow these four idols, who are around the same age and share many similarities, to discuss their thoughts and concerns and build a close friendship while checking in on their mental well-being.
“Boys’ Mind Camp” will be WAVVE’s second original variety show following “Level Up Irene X Seulgi Project.” The broadcast schedule has yet to be finalized.
