"Was It Love?" And "She Knows Everything" Wrap Week 1 With Modest Ratings
The all new lineup of Wednesday-Thursday dramas is struggling to gain solid footing.
The July 9 broadcast of JTBC’s “Was It Love?” saw a small boost in ratings following its Wednesday premiere, though viewership remains low. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode recorded 2.2 percent viewership, for a 0.2 point increase from the first episode.
“Was It Love?” is a rom-com starring Song Ji Hyo as Noh Ae Jung, a movie producer and single mother who has been on her own for 14 years. Despite having given up on romance, she suddenly finds herself in an unexpected second chapter of her love life when four different men enter her story at the same time.
MBC’s “She Knows Everything,” which also premiered Wednesday, saw 3.2 and 2.9 percent viewership, for a 1.3 point decrease.
“She Knows Everything” is a four-episode mystery drama about a real estate expert (Kang Sung Yun) and a detective (Jo Han Sun) who work to uncover the truth behind a mysterious death at an apartment. The drama will be followed by MBC’s “Pitching In” on July 22.
KBS’s “Into the Ring,” which premiered last week, saw a minor 0.1 point boost in ratings, recording 2.4 and 3.3 percent viewership.
