Watch: "Flower Of Evil" Reveals Closer Look At Next Week's Intense, Mystery-Filled Premiere

tvN has shared a more in-depth look at next week’s premiere of “Flower of Evil.”

The drama stars Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won as married couple Baek Hee Sung and Cha Ji Won. As Baek Hee Sung tries to hide his past while pretending to love his wife, detective Cha Ji Won begins to grow suspicious of her husband and starts searching for the truth.

In the new highlight clip, Moon Chae Won’s character Cha Ji Won says to Baek Hee Sung (Lee Joon Gi) while standing outside of a mysterious building, “One truth can, in a moment, turn your life into ruins. I know that truth will be revealed someday, but for some reason, I feel like if I go in there, I won’t be coming out again.” She proceeds to step through the doorway with her husband close behind.

A detective talks about a suspect in a case, saying the suspect used the exact same item in a crime as a man named Do Min Seok. Cha Ji Won adds, “As you can see in the security camera footage, this was carefully planned. This man is very dangerous.” The clip then immediately cuts to Baek Hee Sung, who flashes a strange smile in the mirror. He says to someone, “I know who killed [Lee Jang]. That’s right. I killed [him].”

Baek Hee Sung says, “If you help me, I’ll tell you everything I know. You never know, maybe reporter Kim Mo Jin will reveal the identity of the serial killer’s accomplice.” He continues, as the clip shows scenes of him on the run from police, “I just want to live as Baek Hee Sung. That’s all. I don’t want to lose my life.”

At the end of the video, Cha Ji Won says to Baek Hee Sung, as we see him approaching her and closing his hand around her neck, “Choose. Right now, you’re the one determining the future of our relationship.”

“Flower of Evil” premieres July 29 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
