Watch: Park Seo Joon And Choi Woo Shik Have A Funny Phone Call With BTS's V On "Summer Vacation"
Park Seo Joon continued his guest appearance on the July 24 episode of “Summer Vacation”!
The new tvN reality show features people enjoying an everyday vacation in an unfamiliar place, far away from city life, in order to heal their tired minds and bodies. It stars Jung Yu Mi, Choi Woo Shik, and their guests.
As Park Seo Joon had joined the pair at their relaxing vacation home, the hosts tried to share things with their guest. Jung Yu Mi asked him, “What do you cook at home?” but Park Seo Joon said he doesn’t usually eat at home. Jung Yu Mi shared in disappointment, “I was planning on picking some basil to give to you.”
Jung Yu Mi and Choi Woo Shok kept encouraging Park Seo Joon to take home some plums and chives, and Park Seo Joon joked, “I feel like I’m at my grandmother’s house.”
Jung Yu Mi later took a photo of Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik while they were all relaxing together. She admired her own picture and said, “It looks like a scene in a French movie where they’ve gone to relax in the countryside at their grandmother’s house on holiday.”
She began to say “Call—” but had forgotten the rest of the title she was thinking of, so Choi Woo Shik replied, “Call Me by Your Name?” Jung Yu Mi replied, “Right!”
After having a healthy dinner, the trio had fun taking group photos together. “We should put one up in the house,” said Choi Woo Shik.
Jung Yu Mi suggested that Park Seo Joon sit in the middle while she and Choi Woo Shik make a heart behind him because their clothes were a similar color. Park Seo Joon pointed out, “It’ll look like I’m a totally oblivious person who’s a third wheel on your honeymoon.” Still, he put on a big smile for the photo and then laughed over their pose. When they went inside, Choi Woo Shik hung some of their polaroids up in the living room.
While the trio hung out together in the evening, Park Seo Joon started a video call with BTS’s V. They greeted each other by saying “What’s up” back and forth in English. Park Seo Joon asked V in Korean where he is, and he replied in English, “In my house,” which made Choi Woo Shik laugh.
V shared that he was currently trying to decide what he should get to eat, and Park Seo Joon said in surprise, “At this hour?” At that moment, Choi Woo Shik began to strum on a ukulele. “Hold on, I have a guest singer here,” said Park Seo Joon, showing off Choi Woo Shik as he began to sing. Jung Yu Mi and Park Seo Joon both laughed quietly over his funny performance.
“He says he can play the ukulele a bit,” Park Seo Joon told V over the phone, sending Choi Woo Shik back into singing the same repetitive song and making everyone laugh, including V on the phone.
“This is all he knows,” said Park Seo Joon as he laughed. “Wow, you got a real pop singer there!” said V.
The BTS member shared that he wished his parents had seen this, and Choi Woo Shik said, “I need to greet your parents.”
“Bring the kimchi container,” V said back, making Choi Woo Shik and Park Seo Joon laugh again. Choi Woo Shik told him, “Please, stop! I’ll bring it!”
Before they ended the call, V asked the others if he should order sashimi or a hamburger, and the others told him to order sashimi. “Next time, come here and we’ll eat sashimi together,” suggested Choi Woo Shik. “You mean go to Goseong?” asked V, and Choi Woo Shik said that would be great.
After the call, Jung Yu Mi asked the guys to explain the inside joke about the kimchi container.
Choi Woo Shik said, “One thing that’s really commendable about V is that if his mother makes him sandwiches, he brings one for me. But he put one in a kimchi container. I thought that he was giving me the kimchi container, so I put my mom’s kimchi in there. But then he told me to give him back the kimchi container.”

The next day, Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik went biking together and for a morning walk, all while showing their closeness as best friends. Jung Yu Mi remarked, “I think you guys must have a lot of fun together.”
Choi Woo Shik looked at their photos and said to Jung Yu Mi, “We look like a married couple. Park Seo Joon looks like a young man who’s come to our farm.” Park Seo Joon commented that he looked like a guide.
Choi Woo Shik said, “I should make eggs for my hungry friends!” and began to cook eggs, before Park Seo Joon stepped in to say, “Could you make french toast?” Choi Woo Shik said, “I’ll make french toast for my hungry friends.”
Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik also played a short game of badminton to exercise, and the trio had a fun time at the beach.
“Summer Vacation” airs on Fridays at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN.
