Watch: Yoon Shi Yoon Pretends To Spoil The Criminal’s Identity In “Train”
OCN’s “Train” has released a behind-the-scenes video for episodes five and six!
“Train” is a sci-fi thriller about two parallel universes that broke apart when a single choice was made on the night of a murder. Yoon Shi Yoon stars as Seo Do Won, a violent crimes detective at the Mu Kyeong Police Station. In universe “A,” Seo Do Won lives with a sense of guilt because of his father’s sins. In universe “B,” his father’s crimes lead him into a life of corruption.
In contrast to the dark themes of the drama, the behind-the-scenes atmosphere is light and playful. After filming a chase scene in an old train, Yoon Shi Yoon said with a fan on his face, “If this was a bus, we could film with the windows open. But this drama is called ‘Train.’ Or if it was a magical bicycle, I could fire shots with the wind in my face. But that doesn’t look cool.”
In the next scenes, Yoon Shi Yoon pretended to spoil the identity of the criminal on-camera. He said, “I’m going to hold a special event for viewers to guess who the criminal is. A key clue was revealed in the movement of the staff members.” All his fellow actors played along as he jokingly said to them, “You know how you’re the criminal, right? Oops.”
Yoon Shi Yoon continued to show his playful side. After he pins one of his junior detectives to the wall, he quips, “This kind of looked romantic.” In a scene in which his senior police officer is explaining something to him, he broke out into laughter and said, “This line makes no sense. How can we ask who the missing people are in a missing person case? I know this is because I’m from a parallel universe, but it makes no sense if you just look at the lines.” Kyung Soo Jin tried to stay in character, but ended up laughing as well.
