Main Vocalist Blows Everyone Away As 1st Member Of His Group To Appear On “The King Of Mask Singer”
On the August 2 episode of MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer,” four contestants battled it out in order to challenge the champion for the throne.
The first match of Round 2 was between “Jun Jin” and “Haunted House.” “Jun Jin” captivated the stage with a rendition of IU’s “Ending Scene” while “Haunted House” wowed with a performance of Lee Seung Chul’s “Western Sky.”
“Haunted House” took the win over “Jun Jin” with a score of 16 votes to 5, moving on to the next round. “Jun Jin” took off his mask to reveal that it was none other than VERIVERY’s Yeonho!
Yeonho is the first VERIVERY member to appear on the show and he said, “This is the first time that I’m singing by myself, so I was really nervous.” He added, “I’m honored to be standing here and singing. It’s a show I’ve loved watching since middle school, so I’m very happy to be here right now.”
VERIVERY’s official Twitter account shared more photos from Yeonho’s experience on “The King of Mask Singer” and wrote, “‘Throne, come closer to me baby.’ Who is the person behind the mask? It’s VERIVERY’s jade marble voice Yeonho. Another day with him comforting us, thank you for being our pride.”
