Kim So Eun Shares What Drew Her To

Kim So Eun has shared why she decided to appear in the upcoming MBC Every1 drama “Lonely Enough to Love”!

“Lonely Enough to Love” is a romance drama about housemates in their 20s and 30s who don’t want anything serious and want to enjoy their freedom but also don’t want to be alone.

When asked why she decided to appear in the drama, Kim So Eun said she found the drama relatable and said, “I think it has a lot of components that people in their twenties and thirties can relate to. It takes a realistic and detailed approach to love and dreams. I really connected with the narration. I think the drama will be able to help comfort those in their twenties and thirties who are hurting from failures in love and dreams.”

Kim So Eun will be taking on the role of Lee Na Eun, a freelance copy editor who dreams of becoming a novelist. She showed affection for her character as she said, “Lee Na Eun is a great character who is chasing after her dreams. She’s still in the process of getting there, and sometimes feels discouraged by all the people around her who are successful, but then she brushes it off and keeps working hard. She appears to be an amateur on the outside but her passion and ambition bring her up to a professional level. She is someone who values internal strength.”

She continued to add, “How much do I think I resemble Lee Na Eun? About 80 percent? Lee Na Eun is a freelance copy editor who wants to be a novelist, and she needs to be detail-oriented and thorough when it comes to her work. I’m like that as well when it comes to scripts and filming. I try my best to check over everything.”

“Lonely Enough to Love” is set to premiere on August 11 at 10:50 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
