JYP Entertainment has announced that DAY6 is gearing up for their very first unit release.

On August 6, the agency officially stated, “It’s true that DAY6 is making a comeback as a unit. We are currently planning for a release sometime toward the end of August. We will reveal more information, including the exact date, at a later time.”

The unit’s upcoming album will reportedly feature songs co-composed by DAY6 members Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon.

Prior to the release of DAY6’s last mini album “The Book of Us : The Demon,” the band announced that they would be temporarily halting all group activities and promotions out of concern for some of the members’ mental health.
