Kim Yoo Jung And Ji Chang Wook Keep Viewers Wondering If "Backstreet Rookie" Will Have A Happy Ending

SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “Backstreet Rookie” has released new stills ahead of the drama’s finale, making viewers wonder if there will be a happy ending for Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung.

The end of the previous episode showed Jung Saet Byul (Kim Yoo Jung) leaving Choi Dae Hyun (Ji Chang Wook)’s side. She was pained by the thought of Choi Dae Hyun fighting with his mother Gong Boon Hee (Kim Sun Young) because of her, especially as Gong Boon Hee had treated her like family, so she wrote them a letter and secretly left the house.

The new stills draw intrigue as Jung Saet Byul can be seen working in a flower farm. Jung Saet Byul has always loved flowers, and she left the convenience store for a quiet working life in the countryside. As always, she is working hard at her job no matter where she is, but things feel unfamiliar as she no longer has a convenience store vest on.

The stills also show Choi Dae Hyun going to where Jung Saet Byul is in hopes of bringing her back. It remains to be seen whether he’ll be able to win her over and changer her mind so they can have a happy ending together.

The production staff of “Backstreet Rookie” stated, “Ji Chang Wook, Kim Yoo Jung, and everyone in ‘Backstreet Rookie’ will make viewers laugh and move them till the very end. We will have an ending that is as unique and energetic as the drama has always been. We wish to thank everyone who has watched us so far and please anticipate the finale episode as well.”

The final episode of “Backstreet Rookie” will air on August 8 at 10 p.m. KST.
